What we know about you, and what we do not.

The short version
There is one form on this website, the booking page, and it is the only thing that asks you for anything. Filling it in is optional: WhatsApp still works exactly as it did. There is no account to make and nothing to pay for here. The site also counts visits with Google Analytics, which leaves a cookie in your browser, and nothing in that cookie carries your name.
What the booking form asks, and where it goes
Your name, your WhatsApp number, which service you want, the day you would like and, if you write one, a note. Nothing else. We ask for those four because we cannot give you a time without them, and the note only because a wedding date or an allergy changes what we prepare. There is no payment on this site and we never ask for a card. What you send goes to the salon's own Google Calendar as a request, and a copy is kept in a private spreadsheet only the salon can open. It is the same place a booking taken on the phone or at the counter goes, so the floor has one list rather than four. Nobody outside the salon is given it, and we do not sell it to anyone. We keep it as long as you are a client, so the next visit starts where the last one ended. Ask us on WhatsApp to delete it and we will, and we will tell you when it is done.
What the website measures
Visits, not people. Google Analytics records which page was opened, roughly which part of the world the browser is in, what sort of device it is, and whether the language switch was pressed. It does not record your name, your number, or anything you type, because there is no contact form, no newsletter box and no login on this site to type into.
What is kept on your own device
Two things. Your language choice, saved under the name noor-lang, so the next page opens in the language you picked. That one never leaves your device. And Google Analytics's own cookies, which give your browser a random number so that a second page in the same visit is not counted as a second person. Clearing your browser data removes both.
Who else your browser talks to
Four companies, for four reasons. Google Fonts sends the typefaces the pages are set in. Google Analytics counts the visit. Supabase stores some of the gallery photographs. Vercel serves the site and keeps ordinary server logs the way every host does. Each of them sees your IP address and which page you asked for, as happens on any website you visit. None of them gets your name or your number from us.
When you message us on WhatsApp
Every button on this site that says WhatsApp opens WhatsApp. That conversation happens inside WhatsApp, which is run by Meta under their own terms, not ours. On our side we keep what you sent us: your name, your number, and what you asked to have done, so we can give you a time and be ready when you arrive.
What we keep at the salon
Your name, your phone number, and a note of what was done and when. We keep it so the next visit starts where the last one ended, and so we can reach you if an appointment has to move. We do not sell it, we do not rent it, and we do not hand it to anyone for advertising.
Photographs
Every face on this site is here because that client said yes. If you are in one of these photographs and want it taken down, send us one message and it comes down. You do not have to give a reason.
Nothing is shipped
Noor is a salon. Every service is performed on the third floor at Bailey Road, in front of you. Nothing is posted, couriered or delivered, so we never take an address for delivery and there is no courier holding your details.
Asking us what we hold, or to delete it
Message or call 01711 726728 and ask. We will tell you what we have against your number, and if you want it gone, it goes. There is no form to fill in for this.
