Every service has a price you can read before you sit in the chair. If your hair needs something extra, we stop and ask you. The bill at the end is the number you already heard.
Why there is a Noor
Punam kept hearing the same things from women around Bailey Road.
The bill came out different from the number they were quoted. The colour was not the colour they asked for. Somebody rushed a bride on the morning of her own wedding. There were salons nearby, and there was still nowhere she could send a friend without adding a warning to it.
Azmana Azmir Punam trained in this industry and worked in it, so none of that was news to her. What kept bothering her was that it did not have to be that way. Every one of those complaints has a fix, and the fix is not expensive. It is just a decision somebody has to make and then keep.
In February 2025 she opened the salon she would have sent her friends to.

Three things we settled on day one.
Not a list we wrote later to answer complaints. These were the reasons for opening at all.

Ladies only, the whole floor.
The third floor is ours and it is private. Women work it and women use it, so nobody has to think about who is at the door.

Clean, where you can see it.
Tools cleaned between every client. Anything meant for one use is opened in front of you. Ask to see how something was prepared and we will show you.
10People on the floor
Ten pairs of hands, and one of them runs the place.
Ten people work at Noor across hair, skin, nails and bridal. Punam runs the salon herself, so the person who set the standard is the person you can ask about it.
That size is deliberate. It is enough to take a bridal party without borrowing hands from somewhere else, and small enough that the same people see you each time you come back.
Said plainly
We opened in February 2025.
That makes us a new salon, and we would rather say it than let you find out. It also means the room, the chairs and the tools are new, and the promise about prices was written before the first client walked in, not after somebody complained.
